Woman retires her aging ovaries for art/ Ovarian, by Nature
A local television/internet article describing "Ovarian, by Nature," a Social Practice piece of art. It occurred on May 17, 2012. The goal was to bring members of the Ovarian Nation together to talk about experiences, viewpoints, and commonalities. Fact: Every human on the planet is Ovarian, by Nature. Why don't we stress our common-ness instead of our different-ness?
3 blank books were provided for participants to sign, write a story, or draw a picture. These books serve as documentation of the event.
Donations toward ovarian cancer research were accepted and given to the American Cancer Society.
