While facilitating a murals class for Communities in Schools of Spokane County, I encountered a creative group of kids. They each designed their own building and I faithfully, painstakingly recreated each building in my own composition on a mural measuring 8ft by 8ft. This "mobile mural" will be mounted to the dilapidated shell of the Otis Hotel in downtown Spokane on April 25, 2015. Each child, and his/her family, will be able to see their own design and have specific bragging rights to the fact that they helped beautify an otherwise ugly building.
